Jaibalito is a small hamlet tucked between Santa Cruz and Tzununá on the north shore — accessible only by boat, with no road connection and a population small enough that most residents know each other by name. It is one of the most remote inhabited points on the lake, and that remoteness is its defining characteristic. There are a handful of established hotels and guesthouses, a small local community, and very little commercial activity. The experience of being in Jaibalito is genuinely quiet in a way that even its neighbors cannot claim — with the notable exception of a community church speaker that often carries through the afternoon and evening, something prospective buyers should factor into their due diligence.

Property here is scarce and rarely changes hands publicly.
